napXfestival - Cheltenham Festival THE RULES

Name: Cheltenham Festival (napXfestival)
Entry Level: £10
Date: Tue 11th - Fri 14th March 2008  (You can enter at any time before the end of the competition)
Course Info: Click here
1st Prize: £200 cash
2nd Prize: £50 cash
3rd Prize: £20 napCredits

Upon entry a player’s napBank will be determined by the day they enter into the competition. Players starting on the first day will begin on a napBank of £0. Players starting on the second day will begin on -£8, and so on. There is a daily £8 available to place selections with.

A player will choose a £1, £2 or £3 stake to put on their selections (or naps), the money is placed as a notional bet at the official starting price (SP) for each selection. If a selection loses, the stake money is deducted from the napBank at the end of each day.

Players must back their selections to a total of £8. This means that a player can make up to eight selections at £1 (should there be enough races) or as few as two at £3 and one at £2. Any money remaining from the daily £8 not wagered, will be debited from their napBank at the end of each day, except on days when racing has been abandoned.

The winner of the competition will be the player with the biggest nap bank at the end of the napXfestival. In the event of there being a tie for any of the prizes, the entrant who made the most profit on a single selection will be declared the winner. In the event of there still being a tie, the entrant who has the highest Strike Rate (SR%) will be deemed the winner. In the unlikely event of there still being a tie, a winner will be selected at random from the pool of eligible winners.
